Jennie Belle Maw, daughter of Laura and John Maw, was born June 4, 1889, at Divide Center, east of Lyons, and departed this life in Dodge County Hospital at Fremont on February 14, 1949. She attended school at Divide Center and was a member of Divide Center Presbyterian Church. On February 27, 1907, she was united in marriage to Nelse Jensen of Lyons. To this union were born three boys, Orville of Lyons, Ernest of Rosalie and Lester of Fremont; two girls, Ruth Jensen of Corvallis, Oregon, and Mrs. Virgil Gelski of Holbrook, Arizona. They lived on a farm near Rosalie until five years ago when they moved to Fremont. Mrs. Jensen was a great lover of flowers and spent much time in caring for them. She leaves to mourn her departure, besides her husband and children, two brothers, Elton Maw of Decatur and Arta Maw of Oregon; also four grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
