She was born at Belgrade to the late Joseph and Carrie Moore. She received her education in Nance County schools. She taught in rural schools near here and in northern Nebraska. Read More	Nance County Journal - December 2, 1987 Nettle Myers Died Dec. 1 Mrs. Nettle Myers, 90, lifetime resident of this area, died December 1 in Fullerton Manor where she had resided for the past year. She was born at Belgrade to the late Joseph and Carrie Moore. She received her education in Nance County schools. She taught in rural schools near here and in northern Nebraska. On December 22, 1919, she was married to L. H. (Bunch) Myers at Columbus. The couple continued to make their home here where he served as a rural mail carrier. Mr. Myers died on November 27, 1967. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors Lodge, V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Social Hour Club. Surviving are three sons, Eugene Myers of Fullerton, Leland Myers of Plattsmouth and Vernon Myers of Genoa; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, two sons and a grandson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, at 11 a.m., in Palmer’s Funeral Chapel here by Rev. Bonnie Gilmer, pastor of the United Methodist Church. Visitations will be at the Funeral Chapel on Thursday, from 2 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Fullerton Cemetery.
