(no name of newspaper or date listed) Nevada Moore, daughter of James R. and Mary Moore, was born September 6th, 1856, near Hillsboro, Iowa and died at her home near Mt. Zion, Iowa, July 23rd, 1915, aged 58 years, 19 months, and 17 days. Her entire life was spent in Van Buren County, In 1874 she was untied in marriage to J. F. Perkins, of Utica, Iowa. She was the mother of seven children: Cora B. of Creston, Iowa, James Ross of Porland, Ore., Clara M. of Moulton, Iowa, Fred B. of Genessee, Idaho, Lean Pearl of Utica, Iowa, Ira Francis, who precede her in death and Clement Moore Perkins of Mt. Zion, Iowa. For many years she has been a patient sufferer of asthma and hear trouble, being almost an invalid for the last few years. A devoted wife and mother and wife has gone, one who tried in every way possible to spread love and sunshine about her. During her last illness her three sisters and son, Clem, were at her bedside, doing all that loving hands could to to ease their mother's pain. Beside the husband and children, she leaves to mourn their loss, nine grandchildren and two brothers, Chas. W. Moore of Birmingham, Iowa, J. M. Moore of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and one sister, Amanda Ragsdale of Wichita, Kansas, also friends and neighbors. The funeral was held at the home near Mt. Zion. Monday, July 26th, Rev. Chas E. Perkins of Keosauqua, officiating, and interment was made in Purdom Cemetery. Moulton Weekly Tribune, Iowa JULY 30, 1915 DEATH OF MRS. FRANK PERKINS Mrs. Frank Perkins died at her home in Mt. Zion, near Keosauqua Friday, July 23, aged 50 years. She leaves a husband and six children, Mrs. Glenn Bonner, of Moulton was one of the daughters, and with her husband attended the funeral on Monday. Mrs. Perkins was a very amiable lady and had often visited in Moulton.
