Description	:	Died, of pneumonia fever, on Dec. 31st, 1888, Nicholas Allen of Riley township. Deceased was a good citizen, and will be greatly missed in the community. His remains were followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends to Mt. Zion church after a funeral discourse by Elder Richardson from Job xiv 14 - "If a man die shall he live again?"
