Description	:	Nichole Mae Sexton, age 69, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011, at Heritage House of New Castle. Nikki was born near Hagerstown on March 26, 1942, the daughter of Lewis "Jackie" and Edna Mae (Ratliff) Thalls. She was a life long resident of Hagerstown. She was a 1960 graduate of Hagerstown High School and a former employee of Dana Corp., Heritage Toggery and the Amish Cheese Shop. Read More	Nichole Mae Sexton, age 69, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011, at Heritage House of New Castle. Nikki was born near Hagerstown on March 26, 1942, the daughter of Lewis "Jackie" and Edna Mae (Ratliff) Thalls. She was a life long resident of Hagerstown. She was a 1960 graduate of Hagerstown High School and a former employee of Dana Corp., Heritage Toggery and the Amish Cheese Shop. Nikki was a very creative person, having made many hand painted ceramic pieces over the years. She also loved to knit, crochet and do needlepoint. She was a wonderful cook and hosted many dinner parties and gatherings for her large, extended family. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her the most. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Glen "Cricket" Sexton; three children: Dana (James) Riggs of Cambridge City, Erika (Brian) Miller of Hagerstown and Matt Gentry of Hagerstown; two step-children: Rick Sexton of Cambridge City and Cheri Sexton of Albany, KY; seven grandchildren: Mitchell and Reggie Miller, Jamen, Nathan and Ryan Riggs, Harley and Etol Sexton; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Thalls of Hagerstown; a sister, Jody Riggs of New Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Betty Snyder, Beverly Combs, Patty Little and Dee Jones; a brother, Jerry Thalls; and a special sister-in-law, Mary Beth Thalls. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, in Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Rev. Charles Dugger will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
