Description	:	Nickie Ann Kuhlmann, 74, passed away on December 7, 2021, just 8 days shy of her 75th birthday. She was born Nickie Ann Wright in North Platte, Nebraska on December 15, 1946. She was the oldest daughter of Bill F. Wright and Beatrice Glen (Jones) Wright. Nickie was a fighter. She had been hospitalized numerous times over the years, battling blood infections, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, a 360 back surgery, and other chronic ailments. Read More	Nickie Ann Kuhlmann, 74, passed away on December 7, 2021, just 8 days shy of her 75th birthday. She was born Nickie Ann Wright in North Platte, Nebraska on December 15, 1946. She was the oldest daughter of Bill F. Wright and Beatrice Glen (Jones) Wright. Nickie was a fighter. She had been hospitalized numerous times over the years, battling blood infections, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, a 360 back surgery, and other chronic ailments. Nickie had a "never give up" attitude and survived many close calls over the years. She was an inspiration to anyone that knew her. In the end God finally decided that Nickie had been through enough and called her home. Nickie was an artist her whole life. She loved to paint, create sculptures, teach art classes, and create all sorts of arts and crafts. Recently she enjoyed teaching art classes to her friends at Twin Oaks of Heritage Point Senior Living in Wentzville, Missouri. During her life she had many roles, but Nickie's primary job in life was being "super momma". She was Mom, Grandma, chauffeur, counselor, referee, sounding board, business advisor, awesome cook, and creator of some of the best family memories a family could ever ask for. Nickie always put the needs of her children and anyone else she knew in front of her own. She was selfless in her actions in life, and did everything she could to motivate, inspire, and challenge to never give up those she knew and loved. She brought endless joy and happiness to the lives of those she touched. Nickie married Bruce Ray Kuhlmann of North Platte, Nebraska on February 24, 1968. Bruce was a private pilot and his aviation career moved the family to many places including Gering/Scotts Bluff, NE; Casper, WY; Douglas, WY; Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO, and Oklahoma City, OK. Nickie and Bruce were finally able to move to St. Louis in 2015 to be closer to their two sons and grandchildren. Preceding Nickie in death were her parents Bill and Bea Wright, and her husband Bruce Kuhlmann. Nickie is survived by her two sons Kelly (Michelle) Kuhlmann and Kevin (Jeanette) Kuhlmann, 5 amazing grandchildren (Hannah, Kyle, Grant, Kendall, and Alex), and her sister Nancy Wright Tinnean. Interment will be at a later date in North Platte, Nebraska and a private service will be held by the family.
