Description	:	TIOGA, N.D. - Nina Ouren, 92, of Tioga, formerly Crosby and Wildrose, died Monday, May 10, 2004, at her home in Tioga. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15th, at Grace Lutheran Church, Wildrose with the Rev. Carol Weist officiating. Burial will follow in the Wildrose Cemetery. Nina Lillian Fitzgarrald was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Bridgewater, Iowa, to Lewis Albertas and Mary Lobola (Robinson) Fitzgarrald. Nina Lillian Fitzgarrald was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Bridgewater, Iowa, to Lewis Albertas and Mary Lobola (Robinson) Fitzgarrald. She came with her family to North Dakota in April of 1915 and settled in Upland Township, Divide County. Nina attended the rural Highland School No. 1. She was united in marriage to Palmer Ouren in the Lutheran Parsonage in Crosby, Nov. 27, 1935. They farmed in the Wildrose area until 1942 when they purchased their own farm in Upland Township. They continued working and residing there until retiring in 1960. They moved into Wildrose in 1975. Palmer preceded her in death December 11, 1989. Nina had been a member of and was baptized at Glenwood Lutheran Church and later became a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide. She had also belonged to the Wildrose Senior Citizens, the Upland Hobby Club and was a member of the Upland Homemakers Club for many years. Nina also was a past member of the Sons of Norway. Her hobby and passion was reading and being with her family. Survivors include a son, Maynard of Wildrose; three daughters, Ilene Rivers of Wildrose, Donna Brodal Ramberg (LaVerne) of Tioga and Marion Groth (Dennis) of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; four children, Sharon, Lorraine, Carol and LaVerne; her parents; two sisters, Hazel and Irene; and two brothers, Clifford and Donald.
