She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 50 years. The daughter of Richard and Ellen Forbes, she was born in Schuyler county, Mo., November 9, 1879. She was married to John A. Anderson at Greentop, Mo., in 1897 [sic]. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Open Bible church. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Liza Montgomery and Mrs. Minnie Roe; four brothers, Isaac, Robert, Richard and Louis Forbes; two grandsons, all of Ottumwa. Preceding her in death were her husband, one daughter, one brother, one sister and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Open Bible church with the Rev. L.C. Card in charge. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The casket will be taken to the church one hour before the services. Pallbearers will be Earl, Louis, William and Alfred Roe, Norlan Forbes and Eugene Montgomery.
