Description	:	Mrs. Nora Werner, 79, 423 North Main street, died at the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis at 1:30 a. m. today following an illness since September with a malignant growth. She had been a patient at thc hospital for morc than six weeks. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at Young's Funeral home and Rev. E. E. Lawshe will be in charge. Interment will follow in the mausoleum at Fairview cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home Tuesday. Mrs. Werner, who would have been 80 years old Thursday, was born June 5, 1867 in the northwest part of Tipton county to Mr. and Mrs. William Currey. She was one of a family of seven children. On March 13, 1888, she married John W. Werner in Tipton county and they resided near Tipton for several years before moving to Tipton about 35 years ago. The couple celebrated a golden wedding anniversary in 1938. A farmer, Mr. Werner died Oct. 8, 1939. The couple had two children, one of whom, Earl, died in infancy. Mrs. Werner was a member of the Hopewell Methodist church, the Modern Priscilla Art club and Rosary chapter No. 66, Order of, the Eastern Star. She attended schools in Tipton. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. William Kinder, 203 North West street; two brothers, William Currey of Kokomo and Jonathon Curry of Daleville; a twin sister, Mrs. Cora Smith of the Hopewell community; two grandsons, Audley Kinder of Westfield, Mass., and John Kinder of Abingdon, Ill., and five great grandchildren.
