Word has been received here by relatives of the death Wednesday night in Des Moines of Mrs. Nora Dorothy, 44 years old, wife of Glen Dorothy and former resident of Ottumwa. She had been ill for the past year. Besides her husband, Mrs. Dorothy is survived by four children, Irvin [sic], Forrest, Virginia and Delbert, all living in Des Moines; her mother, Mrs. Mary Orndorff of Ottumwa; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Smith, Mrs. Lottie Kendall, Mrs. Lizzie Heckart, and Mrs. Myrtle Jones, all of Ottumwa, and two brothers, Horace Orndorff and Jerry Orndorff, both of Ottumwa. The body will be brought to Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held from the Jake Kendall residence, 517 South Ward street, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure, pastor of the Pentecostal church. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery.
