Description	:	Norbert Bracht, 78, of West Point died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. He was born Dec. 10, 1933, in West Point to Anton and Elizabeth Hunke Bracht. He was a 1951 graduate of Guardian Angels Catholic School. He served in the U.S. Army from May 1954 until April 1956.He married Mildred Sudbeck on May 4, 1960, in Bow Valley. The couple farmed southeast of West Point. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was born Dec. 10, 1933, in West Point to Anton and Elizabeth Hunke Bracht. He was a 1951 graduate of Guardian Angels Catholic School. He served in the U.S. Army from May 1954 until April 1956.He married Mildred Sudbeck on May 4, 1960, in Bow Valley. The couple farmed southeast of West Point. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served on the Central Catholic School Board, the Resolution Committee for Associated Milk Producers Incorporated and a board for the United Stated Department of Agriculture. He sang in the adult and funeral church choirs. Survivors include: his wife; a daughter, Denise (and husband, Kurtis) Keling of Overland Park, Kan.; sons, Neal (and wife, Tami), Glenn and Kurt (and wife, Angie), all of West Point, and Gary (and wife, Victoria) of Chillicothe, Ill.; a sister, Dorothy (and husband, Fred) Gentrup of Beemer; brothers, Leonard (and wife, Marian), Ed (and wife, Helen), Paul (and wife, Vera) and Victor (and wife, Judy), all of West Point; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson. The memorial Mass will be noon Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point with the Rev. Frank Lordemann officiating. Stokely Funeral Home in West Point in charge of arrangements.
