Norma was a member of the Kings Crossing Church of Christ in Corpus Christi, and formerly the Murray Church of Christ. She was formerly served as a Girl Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Den Mother, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Navy Wives Club, Garden Clubs, P.T.A., and the Clarke Co. Genealogical Society. Survivors include her husband, Carl Woods; a daughter, Carol Elaine Woods of Rochester Hills, Mich.; three sons, Philip (wife Vivian) Woods of Corpus Christi, Tex., Craig (wife Linda) Woods of Fleming, Ohio and Roger (wife Glenda) Woods of Walled Lake, Mich.; six grandchildren, Wilson (wife Alicia) Woods, Clinton Woods, Evan Woods, Shawn Woods, Trevor Woods and Ryan Woods; two brothers, Wayne "Pinky" (wife Sally) Phillips of Murray and Dale Phillips of Bouton, Ia.; a sister, June (husband Darrell) Flaherty of Murray. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Max Phillips.
