Born at Frostburg, Sept. 5, 1931, a daughter of the late Thomas McCormick and Nell (Park) McCormick. Surviving is her husband of 52 years as of Dec. 22, 2003, George T. Kelly; one daughter, Jane Ann McAlpine and husband Alex, Lonaconing; one son, Kevin M. Kelly and wife Chris, Georgia; five grandchildren, Alexa Raines and husband Brian, Brian McAlpine and wife Teri, Beth Wade and husband Larry, Shannon Kelly, and Jordan Kelly; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Raines, Jayna Raines, Loren McAlpine, and Nikki Wade; one sister, Rhea Ann Muir, Lonaconing; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kelly was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lonaconing. She was a former government employee GSA, and a retired teachers assistant for the Allegany County Board of Education. She was also a member of the Good-Will Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, a life member of the Georges Creek Ambulance Service, and secretary of the Central School Alumni Association. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Mortimore officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m. by the Georges Creek Ambulance Service, followed by the Good-Will Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary memorial service at 7:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to: The Good-Will Volunteer Fire Co.
