Description	:	Norma Jean (Ginther) Sangray was born September 14, 1933 and passed away with family by her side on January 5, 2022 at the age of 88. She was adopted from Shodair Children's Hospital in Helena as an infant by Ernest & Lola Ginther and their sons Ray, Keith, and Burton. Read More	Norma Jean (Ginther) Sangray was born September 14, 1933 and passed away with family by her side on January 5, 2022 at the age of 88. She was adopted from Shodair Children's Hospital in Helena as an infant by Ernest & Lola Ginther and their sons Ray, Keith, and Burton. Norma grew up on a cattle ranch north of Augusta, Montana with her three older brothers. She says she wasn't spoiled by her older brothers, but they treated her like a princess. She attended school in Augusta where she met her high school sweetheart Dick Sangray. They were married in Hawaii while Dick was in the Navy. They moved back to Brady, MT and raised their 3 children: Char, Rich and Renee. Norma worked for a doctor in Conrad performing nursing and secretary duties and was a homemaker. They spent many summer weekends at the family cabin on Holter Lake, fishing, swimming, water skiing and enjoying the great outdoors. After raising their family, they moved to East Glacier Park where Norma became known as "The Flower Woman" – famous for her perineal flower garden. She was featured in the Montana Magazine and appeared on TV every year to usher in spring with her Glacier Lilies. She fell in love with the residence of East Glacier and the wilderness. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family in the garden and giving dinner parties, hikes in the mountains and around the lakes of Glacier Park. Her other hobbies included reading, listening to music, crocheting, sewing, baking, and watching football. Norma Jean truly would have flourished in the entertainment world had she pursued that career. She loved to sing, entertain, and meet new people. She was a jokester; she loved the attention and to give attention back to others…she was not shy! Norma was a ray of sunshine, full of love and had a beautiful spirit. The room was beautiful because she brought beauty to the room. Norma is survived by her children Rich (Linda) Sangray of Neihart, MT and Renee (Gerhard) Plenert of LaVerkin, UT, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Delores Rosin, whom she found later in life. She loved telling the story of how they had known each other for years before they had known they were sisters. Other survivors that were very dear to her include brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dick Sangray, daughter Char Gardiner and grandson Gerick Plenert. Her three brothers and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law also precede her in death. We'd like to thank the staff and residents at Touchmark who made her feel so welcomed, cared for, and loved.
