Description	:	Norma Marie Menge was born May 7, 1926, at Edgewood, Iowa, to Charles and Margaret (Monnahan) Menge. She was raised and educated in the area and later graduated from the Greeley Consolidated School on May 11, 1944. Norma was united in marriage to Ray F. Nimmo on July 12, 1946, in Dubuque, Iowa. Together they farmed until moving to Cedar Rapids. While in Cedar Rapids Norma worked as food manager at the YMCA. In 1974 they moved to Garber where they opened the Anchor Inn Supper Club. They moved to Colesburg and operated The Hub for a few years... Read More	Norma Marie Menge was born May 7, 1926, at Edgewood, Iowa, to Charles and Margaret (Monnahan) Menge. She was raised and educated in the area and later graduated from the Greeley Consolidated School on May 11, 1944. Norma was united in marriage to Ray F. Nimmo on July 12, 1946, in Dubuque, Iowa. Together they farmed until moving to Cedar Rapids. While in Cedar Rapids Norma worked as food manager at the YMCA. In 1974 they moved to Garber where they opened the Anchor Inn Supper Club. They moved to Colesburg and operated The Hub for a few years until returning to Garber and the Anchor Inn. After Ray died in 1993, Norma retired to Greeley. She resided at the Yankee Settlement in Edgewood her last two years. She died Monday, July 18, 2011, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home following a brief illness.
