Description	:	NORMAN ISAAC LUPTON Norman Isaac lupton, son of Allen H. and Nettie Lupton, was born July 16, 1886 in Fossil, Ore., and departed this life in Lincoln, Nebraska, Jan. 28, 1957, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 12 days. With his parents, he lived in Fossil, Ore., until he was about four years of age, as which time the family started back to Nebraska, remaining in Aspen, Colo. for about one year. Read More	NORMAN ISAAC LUPTON Norman Isaac lupton, son of Allen H. and Nettie Lupton, was born July 16, 1886 in Fossil, Ore., and departed this life in Lincoln, Nebraska, Jan. 28, 1957, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 12 days. With his parents, he lived in Fossil, Ore., until he was about four years of age, as which time the family started back to Nebraska, remaining in Aspen, Colo. for about one year. They arrived in Pawnee City in 1891, where Mr. Lupton, known to everyone here as "Ikie", has lived ever since, except for the past four years when he resided in Lincoln. Mr. Lupton was united in marriage in 1907 to Hattie White. Norman and Hattie Lupton were blessed with three daughters, Goldie, Mildred and Norma. On Jan. 23, 1918 Mr. Lupton was baptized and united with the First Baptist church. He was elected as a deacon in May, 1935,and also served for many years as custodian of this church. Brother N. I. Lupton joined the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in March, 1919. He became a Past Grand in July, 1921, and served as secretary from July, 1923 to Jan., 1944. Mr. Lupton was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie, his father and mother and one sister. Surviving are three daughters, Goldie F. Nelson of Cheyenne, Wyom., Mildred P. Orr and Norma G. Doudney of Lincoln; one sister, Mrs. Frances Brown of Pawnee City; six grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends. (Pawnee Republican, Pawnee City, NE. Feb. 7, 1957.)
