Novia was born on November 2, 1920, in Emigrant, Montana to Alice and Phil Herne. In 1941, She married Clifford H. Lambert, and together they raised their three children on a ranch up Deep Creek, near Livingston. later, they sold the ranch, and Clifford went to school to operate heavy equipment. Novia was born on November 2, 1920, in Emigrant, Montana to Alice and Phil Herne. In 1941, She married Clifford H. Lambert, and together they raised their three children on a ranch up Deep Creek, near Livingston. later, they sold the ranch, and Clifford went to school to operate heavy equipment. They settled in Colstrip, Montana, where Clifford worked for Bechtel, before retiring to Hysham. In 1994, Clifford and Novia moved to Missouri to be closer to their two daughters. Novia was in her element when all of her children and grandchildren were gathered and she could cook for all of them. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who devoted he entire life to caring for her family. Novia was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Phil Herne ; her beloved husband, Clifford; her son Larry; her sister Phyllis and her brother Gene. She is survived by her two daughters and one son in law; daughter in law; five grandchildren and their children; sister in law Beryl Foltz; brother Don (Phyllis) Herne; cousin Carol Johnson and her nephew. Novia also leaves behind a very special family who loved her and cared for her during the time she spent living at the Westwood Nursing Home in Clinton, Missouri. Our family is so grateful and has been touched by the concern, compassion and love for Novia from the staff. Thank you all for your kindness. "You'll never forget your mother's face, the sound of her voice, the gentleness of her touch - they let you know you were loved." Cremation has taken place.
