Read More	Daughter of Stephan Hartman & Elisabeth Haller Wife of Antony Louis "Tony" Lauberth Odelia Elizabeth "Tillie" Lauberth, age 96, of Jefferson City, formerly of Freeburg, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011, in the St. Mary's Health Center, Jefferson City, after becoming ill on Thursday, February 17, 2011. She was born October 4, 1914, at Freeburg in Osage County, a daughter of Stephen "Steve" and Elizabeth (Haller) Hartman. Mrs. Lauberth was united in marriage on May 12, 1937, at Freeburg, to Anton Louis "Tony" Lauberth, who preceded her in death on May 16, 2002. Mrs. Lauberth was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, and an eighth grade graduate of the Holy Family School. She and her husband lived in California for many years and following the death of her husband, she moved to Jefferson City in 2003 where she attended the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Mrs. Lauberth was always active in her church, community activities, loved playing cards and was an avid bingo player. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she had been employed by the Los Angeles Public Schools as a food inspector for 35 years and was also a devoted housewife and homemaker. Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Lauberth include: one brother, Ray Hartman, Belle; one sister, Alice Schwab, Belle; nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Frank Xavier Hartman on July 6, 1958, Alphonse John Hartman in October 1991, and Cornelius Andrew "Coly" Hartman on June 23, 2001; and two sisters, Rosalyn Cunigunda Haid on November 18, 1991, and an infant sister on January 11, 1930. Visitation for Mrs. Lauberth will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2011, in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, with a prayer service and Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lauberth will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, with the Rev. Phil Niekamp officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. Memorials are suggested by the family to Masses, Holy Family Church, or the Holy Family School with envelopes available at the church or the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
