Description	:	Ole was born in Norway and came to this country with his parents when but a small child settling at Rising Sun, WI. He married Lavina Barlow of Decorah, IA on July 28, 1879 where they lived with the exception of one year spent in Watauga, SD until they came to Verndale in Wadena Co., MN. Ole died at Wesley Hospital following a lingering illness of a stomach ailment which had been claiming him for a number of years. He married Lavina Barlow of Decorah, IA on July 28, 1879 where they lived with the exception of one year spent in Watauga, SD until they came to Verndale in Wadena Co., MN. Ole died at Wesley Hospital following a lingering illness of a stomach ailment which had been claiming him for a number of years. Although he suffered a great deal, he was not of the nature to complain nor would he refrain from doing what work he could about his farm. He possessed a just, honest character and was always known to be fair and square in all his dealings. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, 4 children: William of Mahnomen, Mrs. Olaf Qualley (Stella) of Minneapolis, Mrs. Wilbur Morell (Nellie) of Thief River Falls and Maurice of Verndale at home. He was also survived by one sister and one brother in Wisconsin. Six children preceded him in death. Services were held at the Lutheran church in Verndale of which Mr. Nesset was a lifelong member.
