Bridgman The following has been contributed by Find a Grave member John Stewart: Olga Alice Manning was born December 2, 1912, at Friend, Nebraska. Eight years later the family moved to Fairmont, where she has since lived. She was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Manning. She graduated from the Fairmont High School in 1931. On March 5, 1932, she was united in marriage to Lyman Bridgman. At about the age of nine years she, with her older sister, united with the Methodist church of Fairmont, and was a loyal worker in the church and Sunday School and Epworth League, having been president of the League and taught classes in Sunday School at various times during her affiliation with the church. Since her marriage she has been teaching a class in the Sunday School of the Federated church in which her husband is assistant secretary. At the recent annual meeting of the Federated church she and her husband were elected as two of the sponsors of the Christian Endeavor Society. This news was pleasing to the young people, which was indicated by different ones saying to the pastor, "We will like them." Last Tuesday, November 15, after a brief serious illness of only one week, she passed peacefully on into that realm where suffering and death are not known. Had she lived until December 2nd she would have been twenty years of age. Mrs. Olga Manning Bridgman was always bright and cheerful, radiating optimism and good cheer and seeking to please those she loved. Those whom she leaves to mourn her going are, her husband, her parents, three sisters, Iris, Audrey and Vivienne; Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Bridgman and family, Dwight, Frank, Henry, Federal, and Evelyn; also other relatives and a great host of friends.
