Martin Mrs. Olive C. Martin died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. J. Routh on Saturday night after a lingering illness. The deceased was 79 years of age, born in Nova Scotia, and came to Maine while very young, was a pioneer of Aroostook county. The deceased was a widow of George W. Martin, of Co. E, 7th Maine Regiment of Volunteers. Mrs. Martin lost two sons in the war. She was the mother of twelve children, six of whom survive her including, Mr. C. B. Martin and Mrs. D. J. Routh, of Kent. She also leaves four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Martin cames to the coast a year ago and in this short time made many acquaintances and friends. She was a member of the Baptist church. The funeral was held at the Baptisit church on Monday afternoon, Rev. Frets officiating. The Relief Corps and G.A.R. attended in a body. There was a pro... of floral offerings."
