Ollie Wilson, one of the well known men of the Kempton community, operator of a filling station in that town and driver of one of the school buses, died at his home Wednesday evening about 4:30. Death was sudden and is thought to have been caused by a heart attack brought on by indigestion. Mr. Wilson was seated in a chair conversing with is mother when he was stricken. He gasped out "Goodbye, mother," slumped down in his chair and was dead. Coroner R. R. McMullan to whose undertaking establishment the body was removed investigated the death. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Mr. Wilson had complained in the morning of feeling a burning sensation in his throat and as the trouble became more aggravated he visited a doctor who gave him some medicine for indigestion. He made his rounds, bringing the children to the Kempton school and was about his filling station in Kempton part of the day. In the evening he took the children to their homes and returning to his home seated himself in a chair and was telling his mother about the pain. His mother inquired if he had taken his medicine and on receiving a negative reply went and got it and he took a dose. He had hardly swallowed the dose when he gasped "Goodbye mother" and died. Ollie Wilson was one of the best known men of the Kempton community. He was born May 7, 1888 and was reared northwest of that town residing in the community all of his life. His parents were Eli and Jane (Williams) Wilson, the father being a former resident of Tipton whose death occurred at Kempton several months ago shortly after he had left Tipton and moved back to Kempton. Twenty-two years ago the deceased was united in marriage to Miss Roxy Corn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alf Corn, both deceased and the widow and several children survive. The children are Allen, Gretchen, Dena, Robert, Mary Lois and Phyllis. He is also survived by the mother, one brother, Harry Wilson and a sister, Mrs. Cora Lee, wife of Mart Lee of Kempton.
