Mrs. Bame was self-employed for several years, and she later was a cashier at Pelletiers' Department Store in Topeka and then an account clerk for the state motor vehicle dept. until she retired in 1970. She was born Sept. 8, 1910, in Richland, the daughter of Bernard B. and Myrtle I.Ohse Vitt. She graduated from Overbrook High School in 1928, and she lived most of her life in Richland. Mrs. Bame was a member of the Richland EUB Church. She married Thomas M. Bame on Nov. 14, 1928, in Topeka. He died Jan. 6, 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Osa, Tecumseh, and Dorothy M. Mohler, Overbrook, and a grandson. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Topeka. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
