Description	:	O. Dale Milburn, the son of Omar and Bernice Milburn, was born February 21, 1934 North of Grinnell, Iowa. He lived in the Grinnell area until age 13, when his family moved to the rural Newton area. He was a graduate of the Newton Senior High School, Class of 1952. Dale was a veteran of the US Army. Dale Milburn, the son of Omar and Bernice Milburn, was born February 21, 1934 North of Grinnell, Iowa. He lived in the Grinnell area until age 13, when his family moved to the rural Newton area. He was a graduate of the Newton Senior High School, Class of 1952. Dale was a veteran of the US Army. He later worked as a Service Manager and Mechanic for the B & N Implement in Newton. Since August of 1986, he has been employed by the Maytag Company, as a Machinist. On April 15, 1955, Dale was united in marriage with Donita M. Williams, at the First United Methodist Church in Newton. He was a member of the St. Luke United Methodist Church. Death came to Dale on Wednesday, March 3, 1999 at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center. He was 65 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; and twin daughters, Kathleen & Kaeleen. Funeral services will be held Monday March 8, 1999 at the St. Luke United Methodist Church, Newton. Rev. Daryl Pals, pastor of the St. Luke United Methodist Church will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in rural Newton, Those left to honor the memory of Dale include his wife, Donita M. Milburn of Newton; his son & daughter-in-law, Chris & Susan Milburn of Oskaloosa, Iowa; his daughter, Kim Milburn of Columbia, Missouri; his three granddaughters; Heather , Ashley & Danielle; his four brothers and four sisters & their spouses: Wanda Lou & Norman White of Ankeny, Iowa; Donald & Joan Milburn of Grinnell, Iowa; Beverly & Joe Deutsch of Monroe, Iowa; James & Peggy Milburn of Whittier, California; Joan & Stanley Sievers of Newell, Iowa; Joyce & Richard Capps of Knoxville, Iowa; Gary & Shirley Milburn of Grinnell, Iowa; Larry & Kathy Milburn of Newton, Iowa; a brother-in-law: Maurice Williams and his wife, Anna of Conyers, Georgia; and his many friends. Obituary was published in the Newton Daily News newspaper.
