Collins, Colo., Joe Mattingley of Ankeny, Jamey Shafer of Astoria, N.Y., Andrew(Cresta)Shafer of Streamwood, Ill.; five great-grandchildren, Jonah and Jacob Rigdon, Liviya Harmon, Emma and Iris Shafer; a sister, Hazel(Joe)Carter of Vienna, VA.; and a brother, Arlo(Madeline)McDowell of Bella Vista, Ark. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Marlo, Cecil and Ralph McDowell. Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church; with Rev. Vincent Bete officiating. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am Sunday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 2-4 pm Sunday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or Hospice House, Ottumwa, Iowa.
