Description	:	Opal was the oldest daughter of Loren & Grace Velma Blackford Reed. She had been sick with Diphtheria and recovered and fell ill again. Just before she passed in her grandmothers arm she had called her Papa to tell him she wasn't suffering anymore. She rested a few more minutes and called her Papa and Mama and kissed them all good=bye and went to sleep with Jesus and a smile on her face at the age of 5 years, 3 months, & 12 days old.
