Great grandmother of Hailey, Bailey, J.T., Samantha and Natasha and great great grandmother of Hanna. A resident of Sacramento for 43 years. A native of Iowa, aged 79 years. Rogene leaves behind a legacy of leadership, compassion and being an advocate for any with a need. From caring for her husband Vern, who has had Alzheimer's for 14 years to her neighbors at Pioneer Towers senior apartment complex, she has placed others before herself or her needs. Be it a stranger or a friend, they received her best. She will be remembered for acheiving any goal she set for herself, becoming a realtor of excellence with exemplary integrity and honesty for her clients. She was a mentor who set high standards in every area of life and encouraged those around her to do the same. She will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful wife, mother and patriot. Friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, June 16, 2006, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 P.M. at ELK GROVE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, CA; (916) 686-1888.
