His sweet voice she heard in the black of night, And say's " I know, dear Lord, I'll be alright. Happines was hers from a life of living, Which she passed on to others by giving; A smile for all who came her way, And love for everyone I can hear her say, With a heart as big as a giant, I know, I'll be alright." The light she lit was a bit of leaven, And will not be dimmed by her going to heaven. It will brighten our path as we go our way, When mirrowed in our thoughts each day. That light will shine brighter by day, by night Until we join her who said, "I'll be alright". The road she travelled was not very long, It was secret and sweet because of her song. She sang as she travelled her troubled road, With joy and gladness to her heavenly abode, With a serinity of spirit and pure delight, Because she knew and said, "I'll be alright". Her life was one great drama of love, To all she knew and God above. She made me think of Christ you know, Because from her christian virtues flow. Her face was always shining and bright, For her philosophy was, "I know, I'll be alright".
