Description	:	Ora F. Harter was born at Humphrey, Neb., April 8, 1882. She died at Fairmont, Neb., Thursday, November 6, 1968 aged 86 years. She was the daughter of Charles O. Moore and Martha (Van Blaricon) Moore. She completed high school, then went to Wayne State Normal School and later taught school for a number of years. She was married to Floyd Harter, and they made their home at Archer, Neb., and later at Aurora in the twenties. They came to Fairmont about 1934 and Mrs. Harter had made her home here since then. She was the daughter of Charles O. Moore and Martha (Van Blaricon) Moore. She completed high school, then went to Wayne State Normal School and later taught school for a number of years. She was married to Floyd Harter, and they made their home at Archer, Neb., and later at Aurora in the twenties. They came to Fairmont about 1934 and Mrs. Harter had made her home here since then. Mr. Harter died in 1945 (sic). For the past several years, Mrs. Harter has been in ill health and has lived at the Moore Nursing Home in Fairmont, where she received excellent treatment. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edna Norton of Temple, Tex., Mrs. Ruth Brannan of Royal Oak, Mich., and by one brother, James E. Moore of Fairmont, and by a niece, Mrs. Norma Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., who lived with Mr. and Mrs. Harter for several years; also several nephews, who acted as pallbearers at her funeral. Three brothers, Bruce, Shirley and Chester preceded her in death as did two sisters, Mrs. Ada Striker and Miss Esther Moore. Her death is mourned by her friends, as well as her family. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Fairmont. Rev. William Reitmeier officiated. Burial was in the Aurora Cemetery.
