Description	:	ORA FERRIS LAW Ora Jennie Ferris, was born March 26, 1884 at Leando, the daughter of Jonathan and Mary A. Ferris. She married to O. B. Law on July 25, 1910 and two children were born to them. Dr. Harold B. Law of Princeton, New Jersey and Mrs. Mabel Kisseberth of Kent, Ohio. Read More	ORA FERRIS LAW Ora Jennie Ferris, was born March 26, 1884 at Leando, the daughter of Jonathan and Mary A. Ferris. She married to O. B. Law on July 25, 1910 and two children were born to them. Dr. Harold B. Law of Princeton, New Jersey and Mrs. Mabel Kisseberth of Kent, Ohio. During her childhood and until the time of her marriage, Mrs. Law was a member of the Methodist church at Douds. For the past 28 years that she has resided at Kent, Ohio, she has been an active member of the First Methodist Episcopal church in Kent, Ohio. She was a very active member of the local chapter of D. A. R. Trevelars club and several other organizations of Kent as well as a member of the University Faculty Wives of Kent State University. While she had many and varied interests in her community, her chief interest and devotion was to her children and husband. She had a host of true friends in the community where she lived for over a quarter of a century and who on many occasions referred to her as one of “God’s truly noble women.” During September of 1941 she was stricken with a fatal malady which claimed her Easter Sunday morning, April 6th , 1947. Through all of the years of hopelessness and suffering the patient, Christian courage and fortitude to be a remarkable degree sustained her as it ever had in each trial she encountered in her beautiful life of 83 years and 11 days. Besides her husband and two children, she leaves thee grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Glenn C. Findlay of Eldon. Funeral services were held at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds Tuesday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Sam Williamson of Fairfield in charge. Interment was made in the Mt. Moriah cemetery.
