Description	:	Orianna Wilson was born in Earlville, Iowa on Dec. 3, 1863. She moved with her parents to this vicinity in 1879. On Dec. 25, 1882 she was married in Antelope county to Samuel A. Young. They made their home three miles southwest of town, where she resided at the date of her death, Dec. 11, 1913. She leaves a husband, two sons and two daughters; a brother and a sister to mourn her sudden death. Perhaps more so because of the influence of her true, upright life. She grew up in the church. On Dec. 25, 1882 she was married in Antelope county to Samuel A. Young. They made their home three miles southwest of town, where she resided at the date of her death, Dec. 11, 1913. She leaves a husband, two sons and two daughters; a brother and a sister to mourn her sudden death. Perhaps more so because of the influence of her true, upright life. She grew up in the church. Probably never knowing the time when she was not a Christian. She united with the Methodist church at Creighton in March 1893 and has ever been a faithful and consistent member. Her work in the Sunday School was done with thoughtfulness and devotion. It is here where her life, outside of the home will be missed most. She has taught in the primary department constantly since 1900. Surely, she does rest and we may enter into her labors. Extracted from: The Creighton Liberal 18 Dec 1913 ******** Killed in Runaway Early Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Sam Young, living two and a half miles southwest of town, was killed in a runaway. The accident took place just west of the Otto Furst farm, five miles southwest of town about noon. As near as can be learned, Mr. and Mrs. Young were returning home. In descending a little grade, the tongue came out and the team became frightened and started to run. The buggy was upset and they were both thrown out. Mrs. Young struck on her head, suffering a concussion. Mr. Furst went out with his auto and took her to his home. Dr. Britt was hurriedly called, but before he could get there she had passed away without regaining consciousness. Mr. Young was not seriously injured, suffering but a few minor bruises.
