Description	:	Orlena was probably the daughter of Robert and Emarilla Cudney. She was adopted at about the age of 3 by a Mr. and Mrs. Mitchel. The story goes that she was the only survivor on a wagon train that was attacked by Indians in Iowa. Another story is that David A. They had 7 sons, 5 of which lived to adulthood: Henry, David E., Luther, Rufus and Earnest. ********************* Bronson Pilot February 18, 1921 Obituary Orlena Cudney-Watson was born September 14, 1849 in Iowa and was adopted at the age of 3 years by Mr. and Mrs. Mitchel. She departed life Saturday morning, February 12, 1921, at seven o'clock. She was married to D.A. Watson August 18, 1864 in Colorado. To this union were born seven sons, two of whom died in infancy. Her husband departed this life February 16, 1918. She leaves to mourn her death five sons; H.A. of Ackmen, Colo., D.E. of Bronson, L.E. of Yellow Jacket, Colo., R.O. of Two Buttes, Colo. and Earnest of Bronson, as well as 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist church of Rubens, Kans. Funeral services were held over the remains Monday afternoon at the Baptist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. O.F. Potter, and the body laid to rest in the Bronson cemetery. ***********************
