Description	:	OrLynn C. Veis, 91, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Eunice's Personal Care Home in Billings. OrLynn was born in Fortuna, N.D., on July 3, 1913, a daughter of John and Capitola (Randall) Olson. She was raised in Minnesota and on May 29, 1931, graduated from the high school in Frazee, Minn. On May 12, 1935, OrLynn married Rudolph Martin. Following his death in 1943, she married Richard Veis on Dec. 5, 1944. Richard died in 1962. She was raised in Minnesota and on May 29, 1931, graduated from the high school in Frazee, Minn. On May 12, 1935, OrLynn married Rudolph Martin. Following his death in 1943, she married Richard Veis on Dec. 5, 1944. Richard died in 1962. Over the years, she lived in Minnesota, Washington and Montana, with her primary concern being the care of her family and their home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting and gardening. Quiet time spent reading a book or a night out dancing always made her happy. Throughout the years and many locations, OrLynn was involved in many church organizations, the Farmers Union, Home Demonstration and Birthday Clubs, and various Senior Citizens Centers. Preceding her in death were her parents, both husbands and a granddaughter, Cindy Ann (Veis) Webb. Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Layne and Dixie (LeRoy) Hellickson; two sons, Larry and James; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and extended family, including Aunt Lettie, Margie, Evarae, Mae, Mary and Evis. A funeral service will be held for OrLynn at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at the Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. West, in Billings. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 25, at the Scobey Cemetery. Smith West Chapel of Billings and the Waller Funeral Home in Scobey are assisting with these arrangements. Billings Gazette March 22, 2005
