| Description | : | Orrin O. Olson, businessman and banker here for many years, died at the municipal hospital early Sunday. Born on a farm near Bruce on December 19, 1882, he came to Brookings in 1898. In 1923 Mr. Olson became Secretary-Treasurer of the Brookings Building & Loan association, which has grown to be one of the outstanding institutions of its kind in the northwest.
