Description	:	Ross Watchorn, 81, of 4349 East County Road T, Fremont, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Lincoln. He was born November 29, 1928 in North Bend to Thomas and Ruth (Griffith) Watchorn. The family moved to a farm northeast of Fremont, where he grew up. He graduated from high school in Fremont. Read More	Ross Watchorn, 81, of 4349 East County Road T, Fremont, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Lincoln. He was born November 29, 1928 in North Bend to Thomas and Ruth (Griffith) Watchorn. The family moved to a farm northeast of Fremont, where he grew up. He graduated from high school in Fremont. Ross first worked for the soybean plant in Fremont, then went to work for the Wiechman Pig Co., where he worked for over fifty years. During this time, he also farmed near where he grew up northeast of Fremont. He married Elizabeth Heller on April 17, 1955, and they lived on the farm northeast of town. Elizabeth preceded him in death on December 7, 2008. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include: four daughters, Deborah Watchorn of Lincoln, Shari Tomlinson of Prescott, AZ, Peggy (and husband, Scott) Tharnish of Lincoln and Patricia Watchorn of Lincoln; a son, Michael Watchorn of Lincoln; a grandson, Griffith Tomlinson; a brother, Ed (and wife, Betty) Watchorn of Ponca; a sister, Sylvia Redding of Yankton, SD; close cousins, Robert Hula of Clarksville, AR, and Ray Hula of Fremont; sisters-in-law, Velma Watchorn of Ponca, Virginia Watchorn of Oceanside, CA, and Judy Patterson of Lincoln; and brothers-in-law, David Urban of Sheridan, IN, Alvin (and wife, Kathie) Heller of Wisner, Robert (and wife, Martha) Heller of Beemer, Norman (and wife, Mary Lou) Heller of Fremont and Edward (and wife, Denise) Heller of Wisner. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont with the Rev. Dan Heuer officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont with the family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
