Description	:	Orville Luverne Biesman, 88, passed away on September 22, 2011, after an extended stay at Golden Living Bella Vista. He was born on July 19, 1923, in Irene, SD, to Edward and Minnie (Eide) Biesman.Orville went into the Army in 1943 serving in the South Pacific during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mary, five children, Allen (Else) of Rapid City, Annette (Bryan) Tompkins of Rapid City, Linda (Marvin) Schweigert of Watonga, OK, Bryon of Rapid City and Troy of Rapid City, grandchildren Chad Biesman, Kara (Biesman) Gray, Shane Bartels, Shawn Schweigert, Cassie (Schweigert) Scheffler, Kristi (Tompkins) Scherr and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edwin (Bud), Ednar, and Eugene and sisters Evelyn and Alvera, and son Richard. Orville was a great provider for his family working at Hubbard Feeds for 32 years retiring as maintenance supervisor. Orville enjoyed baseball, fishing, pheasant hunting and, after retirement, watching granddaughter play softball. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Atonement Lutheran Church in Rapid City with Pastor Jon Mapa officiating. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
