Orville was born to Theophil and Elizabeth (Herrmann) Reiner at Otter Creek, N.D., on Jan. 3, 1922. He was raised and educated north of Zap, N.D., and helped his dad run the farm. Orville was born to Theophil and Elizabeth (Herrmann) Reiner at Otter Creek, N.D., on Jan. 3, 1922. He was raised and educated north of Zap, N.D., and helped his dad run the farm. He also worked for his uncle, Sam Miller. From there, he found work at Bismarck, N.D., and he worked at several garages in the auto parts department. On June 12, 1949, he married Delores Heine and, in 1952, they moved to Wolf Point, where he worked for Rather & Schreiber Ford for many years. In 1983, Orville and Delores moved to Longmont, Colo., where Orville retired from Dave Taylor Ford Garage. In 2005, they moved to Billings to be closer to family and the new cancer medical center, where Dr. Jorge Nieva and his staff worked with Orville. Orville was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church and also a member of the Yellowstone Valley Chapter of AHSGR. He is survived by his wife, Delores, of over 60 years; one son, Gary (Linda), Houston; two daughters, Sharon (Harvey) Hamill, Billings, and Debra (Mike) Winkler, Joliet; five grandchildren, Shawna Reiner, Houston, Jodi (Trevor) Grabarek, Billings, Matthew Hamill, Billings, David Winkler, Bozeman, Laura Winkler, Bozeman; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Chloe Grabarek, Billings; three sisters, Eleanor Becker and Norma Sailer, Beulah, N.D., Carolyn (Gerhardt) Loeffelbein, Minot, N.D.; and one brother, Darold (Janelle) Reiner, Kalispell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Orville was preceded in death by his parents, Theophil and Elizabeth Reiner; and three brothers-in-law, Christ Sailer, Jake Becker and Ivan Herrmann. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rocky Mountain Hospice, 2110 Overland, Billings, MT 59102, who provided such excellent care to Orville and his family. A funeral service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20. Smith West Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
