He leaves a wife, father, and mother, two sisters, and other relatives to mourn his loss. For something over a year Oscar has suffered much pain but was not conscious that the dreadful Bright’s disease was fastening Itself upon him until examined by a specialist, and then too late for anything to be done. On New Year’s Day a t the College View Sanitorium he confessed his sins and made all right with his heavenly Father. He was baptized Into the Christian faith Jan. 27th. He made a hard struggle to live that he might show to the outside world that he had made a change of heart. He was of a cheery disposition and liked by all who knew him. He died at his parent’s home Feb. 16th, at the age of 33 years, 5 months, and 7 days. A large number of relatives and friends gathered for the funeral services, which were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian Church by the Rev N. P. Olney, assisted by Rev R. S. Koffroth.
