Mr. Parker was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Mark, March 10, 1882. To this union were born twelve children, two died in infancy. Per FAG #48405330. ____________________________________________________________ Oscar Freeman Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Parker, was born in Clay Township, Marion County, Iowa April 23, 1858, and departed this life April 26, 1929 at the age of 71 years and 3 days. Mr. Parker was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Mark, March 10, 1882. To this union were born twelve children, two died in infancy. One son, Charles passed away in November 1907, and two sons, John and William were killed in World War One. Those remaining to mourn their loss are his wife and eight children: Mrs. Maude Chambers of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Mamie Brown of Des Moines, Jesse and Mrs. Maggie McIntyre of Ottawa,Ill., Alfred at home, Earl of Pershing, Mrs.Mae Denontis of West Frankfort,Ill, Mrs. Leona Mefford of Bussey and Mrs. Dorothy Long of Oskaloosa, plus seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the home, near Bussey, Sunday morning at 10:30 conducted by Rev. S. E. Cole. Burial at Indiana Chapel Cemetery. This information was given by Mary E. Parker
