Sundstrom of Shelton. The body is at the Amos Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________ OSCAR G. JOHNSON, 69, DIES OF HEART ATTACK HERE LAST THURSDAY Oscar G. Johnson, 69, a resident of Shelton for many years died suddenly of a heart attack at his home here about 10:30 a. m. Thursday. He had been failing in health for some time. Thursday morning he went to the house of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Lee, and a short time later after returning to his residence he dropped dead in the yard. A son of Nels and Mary Johnson, Oscar George Johnson was born at Boelus, Nebr., Mar. 4, 1881. He was united in marriage at Grand Island Mar ll, 1902, to Anna Marie Aldrup. Mr. Johnson spent the early part of his life at Boelus. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for a great many years. He lived in Wyoming for six years and moved to Shelton in 1928. Since that time he had maintained his home here but spent a number of years working at North Platte and other points. Mr. Johnson was a kind and loving father and husband and a man who had many friends. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Otto Hohnson, North Platte, and Walter Johnson, Grand Island; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Lee, Shelton; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Woten, Shelton; Mrs. Carrie Hults, Grand Island and two half brothers, Dr. Frank Sundstrom, Shelton and Ralph Sundstrom. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Mrs. Gail Dally; one sister and three brothers, two of whom passed away during the past five months. Funeral services in charge of Rev. Dale Westadt were held in the Methodist Church Sunday at 2:30 p. m. The singers were Mrs. Galen Evans and Mrs. Howard Peck and the pianist Mrs. Harry A. Pickering. Pallbearers were David Drage. Vern Oliver, Bob Mathieson, R. D. McMurray, J. F. Halbeison, and Floyd Conroy. The Amos Funeral Home was in charge of funeral and burial arrangements.
