He had been in poor health for some time, and on Friday had undergone an operation for sinus infection at an Omaha hospital, never coming from under the anesthetic. Surviving are his wife, formerly Delia Karnes, and their one son, Bernice (sic) Dodds of Superior, Wyo. Also a small grandson, Bernard Dodds, aged 2. Another grandson, Tony Dodds, aged 4, accidentally drowned at a wading pool on the university campus at Laramie Wyo., on Friday July 13th of this years. The little fellow's tragic death was a great blow to Mr. Dodds whose condition had noticeably grown worse since that time. Burial was made at the Evergreen cemetery at St. Edward and services were attended by a great crowd of friends and neighbors.
