Andrle and Creps Funeral Home of Eldora handled funeral arrangements. Oscar William Jeske was born April 24, 1912 to Emil and Marie Panthen Jeske. He was born at the Jeske home farm east of Lawn Hill where his brother, Marvin, now resides. He attended school at the South Fork No. 7 country school and at the Eidora High School and New Providence High School. He was an active Farm Bureau member and participated in the Pine Lake Citizens Band Radio Service. He was an active member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora. On March 9, 1935, Oscar and Doris Saint were united in marriage in Eldora. To this union were born a son, Larry and a daughter, Sandra, both of whom are now deceased. They lived their married life in Hardin county, being engaged in farming, trucking and working at the Lawn Hill Sale Barn for a period of time. He also started the Jeske Implement in Eldora which is now operated by his brother, Walter. In 1941 they purchased the farm home east of Lawn Hill and have since resided there. Preceding him in death other than his children were his parents and four sisters, Rose; Mrs. Martha Struck; Mrs. Elfrieda Freese and Mrs. Esther Blome. He is survived by his wife; a grandson, Mark; granddaughter Dawn; a daughter-in-law, Ruth, now Mrs. Gary Walters; a sister, Mrs. Alma Wilson; three brothers, Otto, Marvin and Walter.
