In Addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by his wife: Brassie Young, 4 Brothers: Calbert, Barnett, Harold, and Carl Young, along with 2 sisters: Clayton Cope and Ruth Taylor Junior is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kim Young of Sparta Granddaughter: Maelybeth Young, who held the strings to his heart of Sparta Fur Baby: Raffey Sisters: Edmonda Stephens and Dora (Dan) Cummings of Sparta Sister-in-law: Nora Young of Smithville Special sister & brother-in-law: Sylvia and Dennis Farmer of Sparta along with a host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and friends that he loved and they loved him. Junior and his late wife Brassie were owners of White County Truck and Trailer Parts of Sparta When he was not working or spending time with his family, he was on the greens at Sparta County Club or you could find him watching westerns on TV. He enjoyed watching all Tennessee Vols sports. He has been a member of the Bear Cove Baptist Church for over 40 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 99 of Sparta where was a former Master. Memorials may be made to the Indian Mound Cemetery Trust Fund by contacting the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday Evening, April 2, 2019 at the Bear Cove Baptist Church with burial in the Indian Mount Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday evening and from 12 noon Tuesday till service time. Frank Randolph, Cary Hughes, and Johnny Adcock will officiate the services.
