Surviving are a son, Jeff (Holly), Sidney; three daughters, Sandra (Roger) Wiehe and Pamela (Thomas) Stoker, all Celina, and Sharon (William) Woodbern, Riegelwood, NC; a sister, Ruth (Wilfred) Liette, St. Marys; a son-in-law, Tim Collins, Sunset Harbor, NC; a special friend, Mary Dull, St. Marys; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Patricia Collins; four grandchildren, Danny Hodge, Chad Stoker, Lex Collins, Scott Hodge; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Ramsey. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, having served during World War II, he was wounded in Okinawa, Japan. He retired from the Stamco Tool Company, where he had been a machinist for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 323 and the VFW Post 9289, both in St. Marys. He was an active member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where he had served as a Eucharistic Minister, visiting local nursing homes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, with the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating.
