Description	:	Ottillia B. Freymann, 99, of LeMars, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at Plymouth Manor Care Center in LeMars following a brief illness. The former Ottillia Berner was born July 1, 1899, in LeMars, the daughter of Otto and Anna (Durst) Berner. She grew up in LeMars, attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Central High School in LeMars in 1916. She was the oldest living graduate of LeMars Central High School. Freymann, 99, of LeMars, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at Plymouth Manor Care Center in LeMars following a brief illness. The former Ottillia Berner was born July 1, 1899, in LeMars, the daughter of Otto and Anna (Durst) Berner. She grew up in LeMars, attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Central High School in LeMars in 1916. She was the oldest living graduate of LeMars Central High School. She received her teaching certificate and taught at rural schools in Plymouth County for three years. On Aug. 9, 1920, at the age of 21, she married Vincent Freymann at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in LeMars. In 1922 the couple moved to Omaha, Neb., where they lived until 1940 and at that time moved to Chicago, Ill. They moved to Willmette, Ill., in 1955. Mr. Freymann died Jan. 1, 1957. Mrs. Freymann moved back to LeMars in 1966 and has lived here since. Ottillia was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Christian Mothers Society, Catholic Daughters of America, and Royal Neighbors Society. She had been an active participant in numerous civic organizations, including the group that started the Plymouth County Historical Museum. Survivors include one son, John Freymann of Hammond, Ind.; three daughters, Jeanne Milczareck and her husband, Arthur, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Phyllis Koopman and her husband, Delbert, of LeMars, and Elaine Blair of Canyon City, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edwin Berner, of Fort Dodge. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ella Kelly; and a brother, Felix Berner. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in LeMars with the Rev. Jerome Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in LeMars. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. There will be a Christian Mother's rosary at 4 p.m., a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. and the Catholic Daughter's rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday, all at the funeral home.
