He was born on March 14, 1928 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Firmin and Lois Marie (Morse) LeFebure. Owen served in the U.S. Army. He retired as an industrial clerk from Diamond Power Specialty Company after 34 years, and worked for Standing Stone Bank for 14 years. (Debbie) LeFebure of Amanda, Ohio, Lawrence L. (fiancee Debbie Starner) LeFebure of Lancaster, Ohio; daughters, Diane M. Boyer of Lancaster, Ohio, Donna (fiance Shawn Stebelton) Wunder of Lancaster, Ohio, Karen (Michael) Rubrecht of Frazeysburg, Ohio; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, June Marie Welsch of Morsetown, Tennessee, Nancy A. Savoy of Phoenix, Arizona, Sally Ann (Charles) Turner of Westerville, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. Owen was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Grace Paxton; brothers-in-law, Edward Welsch and James Savoy; son-in-law, Steven Wunder. A mass of christian burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 at St. Mark Catholic Church with Fr. Peter M. Giden and Fr. Ronald L. Arter as Celebrants. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation wil be Thursday November 5, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday November 6, 2009 from 2-4 anf 7-9 p.m. at Sheridan Funeral Home. A virgle service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m.
