Description	:	Obituary: Paebe Tammen Trauernicht was born Mar. 16, 1843 in Aurich, Oldendorf, Germany. When about 22 years old he came with his parents to America and they made their home at Petersburg, IL. Toward the close of the Civil war he moved to Nebraska, near Humboldt. For two years he did carpenter work, in Nebraska City, and from there moved to Craig, MO. where he stayed about ten years, From Craig, MO. he moved to Byron, NE. and in 1912 moved to Chester, where he made his home the remainder of his life, passing away December 28, 1928. In 1872 he was united in marriage to Katherine Luensmann, and the following children were given them. Mrs. W.E. Mit Michell and Mrs. H.K. Vorderstrasse of Chester, Tammen P. Trauernich and John Trauernicht of Hexton, Co. Mrs. Dora Marquard deceased; Mrs. Joe Gimm of Echley, CO., Mrs. G. Collman and Mrs. B.Scheele of Deshler. Beside these children they also lost 2 children in infancy. Funeral services were held at the home and in St. Johns Lutheran Church and interment in the Lutheran Cemetery. ========================================= Tamme F. born Nov. 12, 1805, Aurich, Oldendorf, Germany d. Oct. 17, 1873, Corning, MO. He married May 28, 1832, Aurich, Germany to Namke Peben, (Nancy) she born Oct. 4, 1808, Aurich, Oldendorf, Oestrriesland, Germany. d. Nov. 20, 1871, Corning, Holt, MO. She was 63 years of age. Unmarked graves in Mt. Hope Cem., Corning, MO. Its along Highway I-29 on east side of highway, on a steep hill. The grave is 6 paces N.E. of the George Haer Monument. Tamme was a carpenter. They came to America in April of 1865, shortly after their daughter Seede married John Kuper. Tamme Frieden's parents were Friede Janssen (Trauernicht)b. Oct. 14, 1765, Bagband, Ostfriesland, Germany died and buried at Aurich, Oldendorf, Germany. He was married May 17, 1795, Aurich to Anke Margrethe Hippen b. May 2, 1774, Aurich and d. May 1, 1846, Aurich; buried there. They had 5 children. This is where the Janssen name came for many of the children in the family. Friede's parents were Albert Janssen Trauernich, who was born 1617, Wittmund, Germany and d. May 30, 1646. Fried was a warfsmann in Grosserfehn, Germany, too.
