Farewell was born on March 15, 1964 the youngest of three children to Norman and Joyce (Cassell) Farewell. Read More	Pamela Farewell, age 53, of O’Neill, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Good Samaritan Center in Atkinson, Nebraska. Pamela J. Farewell was born on March 15, 1964 the youngest of three children to Norman and Joyce (Cassell) Farewell. Pamela attended O’Neill Elementary School before graduating from O’Neill High School in 1982. She married George Garhart (Oct. 1982 - April 1984) and to this union one child was born, Bobbi Jo. Pamela then married Jerry Leiding (Oct. 1984 - April 1994) and to this union three children were born, David, Daniel and Elizabeth. She worked many jobs in the O’Neill area but most recently she worked at Main Event, Taco Johns and did housekeeping for many residents of O’Neill. Pamela enjoyed talking to and spending time with her family and friends. She had many friends around O’Neill and if she ever met you she wouldn’t forget your face. She enjoyed bowling, crafting, and going to the Wednesday night dances at the Eagles Club. Most importantly Pamela loved being part of her North Star family. She loved traveling with them and was a part of many trips to concerts and other events. She was also very active and successful in the Special Olympics. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Pamela is survived by: mother, Joyce Howard; sons, David Leiding and Daniel Leiding; daughters, Bobbi Jo Garhart and Elizabeth Leiding; three grandchildren; sister, Norma Retzlaff; sister-in-law, Betty Robinson; aunt, Mary Night; special friend, Sandi Richards; longtime guardian and friend, Paula Mather; North Star family; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her father, Norman Farewell; and brother, Arthur Farewell. Funeal Service on Friday, July 14, 2017, at the Faith Community Church in O’Neill.
