Description	:	Pamela Sue Chaffin, age 58 of The Plains died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Born Oct. 22, 1954 in Athens she is the daughter of Mona Smith Russell of New Marshfield and the late Paul E. Russell. A 1973 graduate of Alexander High School, she was a member of the New Marshfield Church of Christ and The Plains VFW 7174 Ladies Auxiliary. Born Oct. 22, 1954 in Athens she is the daughter of Mona Smith Russell of New Marshfield and the late Paul E. Russell. A 1973 graduate of Alexander High School, she was a member of the New Marshfield Church of Christ and The Plains VFW 7174 Ladies Auxiliary. Besides her mother, Pamela is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert L. Chaffin; two daughters- Crystal (Paul) Lowry of Athens and Amber (Roger) Partlow of The Plains; a step daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Cooper of Wellston; seven grandchildren- Frankie Lowry, Makaylee Lowry, Corbin Lowry, Victoria Partlow, Hunter Partlow, Cheirstynn Cooper & Eric Cooper; four brothers- Pete (Kim) Russell, Bruce (Faith Burchfield) Russell, Gary (Angelia) Russell and Terry Russell all of New Marshfield. Besides her father, she is preceded in death by a grandchild, Ashley Lowry and a brother, Vernon Russell. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday 11:00am at the New Marshfield Church of Christ with Buford Brown officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8pm at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens and one hour prior to the service at the church.
