Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Patricia McGrew was born on January 3, 1933, in Mason City, the daughter of Willis H. McGrew and Marie (Ritter) McGrew Sansom. On June 5, 1950, Pat was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Tomfeld in Muscatine. Pat lived most of her life in the Letts area, having been raised by her grandparents, John and Louise Ritter. She graduated from Letts Schools in 1950. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, living on the farm, nature; especially yard work, planting trees and watching them grow over the years. Pat was blessed to belong to two Bible Study groups. Patricia will be missed by daughters, Robin (Jerry) Dieckman of Letts and Sherry (Brent) Anderson of Wapello; daughter-in-law, Chris Tomfeld of Letts; grandchildren, Ryan (Chrissy) Dieckman of Moline, IL, Tiffany (Jason) Stephens of Letts and Zachary Tomfeld of Letts; great-grandsons, Dawson, Maddux and Banks Dieckman and Andrew and Riley Stephens; and brother, Robert (Jan) Sansom and two nieces of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; step-father, Jack Sansom; son, Randy Tomfeld and step-brother, Bill Sansom.
